Selling a big (53mm) Zlatoust Agat combat diver's watch 193 ChS stainless steel version crown on the left (9 o'clock), as new, from 2014 from the collection liquidation. The watch has a sapphire crystal, a brown (early production) dial, long seconds hand (early production), very luminescent numbers and hands with Superluminova and a Diving depth of 100m. A Vostok 2415 self-winding movement with 31 jewels works inside it. The case was milled from a stainless steel block. The watch is therefore quite heavy. In addition to the shell housing, a special feature is the 10mm long and 8mm wide crown protection cap (canteen). The ZChZ logo, "Russia" and the serial number 0301 are engraved on the back. Technical data: 53x70x17mm, ~200 grams, 24mm lug.The Zlatoust watch factory (ZChZ) in the Urals produced the direct predecessors of these watches, the 191 ChS, from 1949 to 1972 for combat divers in the Soviet and Vietnamese militaries and the NVA Navy of the DDR. This watch had an impressive size of 60mm without the crown, making it the largest wristwatch in the world alongside the Egiziano from Panerai at the time. With the crown protection, the military watch from Zlatoust even measured 80mm. The weight was around 300 grams. A watch was worn over a diving suits and its weight was used as a diving weight. The Zlatoust Agat was the first monocoque watch in the world, the case is milled from a single piece of metal and can only be opened through the bezel, i.e. from above. The watch was produced exclusively for the military and was not available on the civilian market. In 1972, the Russian military ended cooperation with the Zlatoust watch factory. In 2009, the factory decided to also offer the legendary diving watches on the civilian market. Since 2012, elaborately crafted materials and alloys in 60mm have also been offered. All diving watches are still made by hand in Zlatoust. The factory produces 300 copies a year.The watch offered here is in very good, barely worn condition with practically no scratches. The sapphire crystal is of course without scratches. The work is running as it should. The band is new (2 bands). The watch comes in the original wooden watch box and with the original papers.
