Description: Yamaha 481 solid silver flute with .925 silver head joint. Open hole, inline G key, B foot joint. Comes with cleaning rod, original red velvet Yamaha hard case, and soft carrying case. This flute was recently purchased on ebay but is unfortunately not in playing condition. I was told the flute was originally purchased in the '80s and that the pads are original. The leather on most of the pads has almost entirely worn away and the underlying felt is all that is left. At a minimum, the pads will need to be replaced for the flute to be playable. The right hand pinky key is also missing its cork, although this is not necessary for the flute to function. The head joint is slightly difficult to fit into the body, so it would benefit from a professional servicing/cleaning. Please feel free to make an offer, ask any questions, or request more pictures!
