Description: This is a WW2 Japanese Type 95 Shin Guntō NCO (Katana) Sword. It has matching numbers sword and scabbard The sword is from Japan and is an original piece. The pictures speak for themselves, the blade is in near mint condition showing only slight imperfections and mirror like reflection. The tsuka is exquisitely detailed and retains 98% of original decoration and paint detail. Just look at the color of flowers. I believed the scabbard was gold painted originally, as it has irregular wear marks from carry and use. The sword is a great addition to any militaria collection and is perfect for display.
