Description: This listing is for a WW2 “Don’t Snafu Your Leave!” RARE GI Leave Rule Sheet NICE FRANCE Cartoons Read. This historical soldiers rule sheet for reference while on leave was likely published in France for the troops. It features a set of 6 basic rules all GIs must follow while on leave in Nice France, along with accompanying humorous cartoon illustrations. These little drawings really add to the piece and show that even at war there was still a sense of humor. It provides an often forgotten point of view, one ever harder to grasp as more and more veterans pass. The design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of decor styles. It makes this an excellent staple piece for your collection, one your friends definitely wont have! Likely was handed out to one Corporal John S. Cuppy of the 35th Service Corp. A great collectors item, for use display gifting or decor. I cannot overstate- this is possibly the LAST surviving copy of this limited release of rules, given its fragile nature and how few would have kept it! It is in good condition, with no major damage. Has wear from age as expected, no major fading tears stains etc. Has original folds from distribution but no others. One “panel” has more aging than others as it was the outer one when folded. Could be framed, matted, etc at buyers discretion. Thank you for your consideration, reasonable offers always considered. Comes as shown, please see photos for details and measurements. Comes insured in shipment, packed with care.
