This does manual stitches. Because it’s overlapping and thick material it insures you won’t break your needle as long as you guide the needle into a thick area. Turn the wheel back and forth until the needle goes through the layers. You can put stitches all around the patch or on corners. I use Heat and Bond Ultra Hold on the back of the patches but sometimes sewing just adds a security that lasts for the life of the patch or garment.
