Description: This pair (SHOWN IN FIRST 7 PHOTOS ONLY) of special, Schoenhut* all original comic strip character figure dolls, MAGGIE & JIGGS, from the long running (87 years) and very popular, American newspaper, comic strip, "Bringing Up Father", designed by cartoonist, George McManus, will add some special interest to your antique SCHOENHUT doll or toy collection. They have well molded and originally painted features with comic expressions including wide open eyes, button noses, high cheekbones and molded and painted, light brown hair, painted earrings, hairband, bracelet, bun, cigar and *partial Schoenhut label on JIGGS foot. They have jointed, wooden arms, and legs and original large feet with black shoes (hi-heels and side buttons). All their original felt and printed cotton clothing is firmly nailed to them with no additions or missing pieces. They have no fading or stains and no odors as they are from a smoke free home.
