Description: Original pressing from 1980, I am the sole owner. Record, visually examined under bright light. No scuffs or scratches seen. My initials were written on some of the labels. I have issues with reflections sometimes taking pictures of the vinyl. There is nothing wrong with the record it’s the environment of the camera. WHo's Here review for Stand in the Fire. I'll keep it short "it's Warren with a band" Perfect!!! When will the estate release his solo concerts? Bottom Line? Stone Pony? etc.... stand in the Fire is a live album by American singer-songwriter Warren Zevon, released December 26, 1980. It was recorded in August 1980 during a five-night residency at The Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood, California and featured two new original songs ("Stand in the Fire" and "The Sin") and one new cover ("Bo Diddley's a Gunslinger"). The album was dedicated to Martin Scorsese. Zevon called the concerts "The Dog Ate the Part We Didn't Like Tour".[5]Track listingAll songs written by Warren Zevon unless otherwise indicated.Side one"Stand in the Fire" – 3:26"Jeannie Needs a Shooter" (Bruce Springsteen, Zevon) – 4:00"Excitable Boy" (LeRoy Marinell, Zevon) – 3:52"Mohammed's Radio" – 4:45"Werewolves of London" (LeRoy Marinell, Waddy Wachtel, Zevon) – 4:48Side two"Lawyers, Guns and Money" – 3:49"The Sin" – 3:06"Poor Poor Pitiful Me" – 4:08"I'll Sleep When I'm Dead" – 4:28"Bo Diddley's a Gunslinger" / "Bo Diddley" (Bo Diddley) – 4: I use the vinyl grading system published by thevinylfatory.com Mint (M) – Absolutely perfect in every way. Never been played and usually sealed. Near Mint (NM) – The record has been on a shelf between other records. The vinyl looks glossy and clearly has only been played a few times. There are no marks on the vinyl and the whole package is complete. Excellent (E) – Same but I’d tolerate very light marks where the vinyl has been in and out of the inner sleeve a few times, or tiny signs of use generally. Very Good Plus (VG+) – A few further faults are acceptable, but nothing that really compromises the record visually or audibly. A little rub, light inaudible marks, a little background crackle. Very Good (VG) – It’s seen a bit of life, but is still usable. Light pops and clicks, an edge split, light visible scratches. You can still listen to it and enjoy looking at it, but it is visually and audibly USED. Good (G) – To be honest you’re making trouble for yourself here, as Good means Bad. I’d only be selling something really desirable in this condition, with a bargain price and a full, no holds barred description to match. Poor (P), Fair (F) Attempting to listen will be a disturbing experience. Expect major noise issues, skipping or repeating. The record itself is cracked, badly warped and has deep scratches. The cover is also approaching death.
