Labeled "5902/ Rambler T.V. Commercial ~ Lights/ SH. #3" Heavy wear and creasing along bottom edge. 3-inch tear extending upward from bottom edge at center. Two multiple-inch tears extending upward from bottom edge. Several vertical folds spaced about 12 inches apart. One horizontal fold. Otherwise, fine condition. 2nd sheet: Labeled Walt Disney Productions, Burbank, California. Production No. 5902. "Seq. 64.0 + 65/ Set No. 1". Sketch for the picture, "Rambler T.V. commercial" and the set, "Int. Penthouse Show Room". Art Direction by MARVIN A. DAVIS (1910-1998), who has initialed the sketch, became a Disney Imagineer in 1953, and was an essential contributor in the designing of Disneyland. He worked on a considerable number of Disney productions including Zorro and Babes in Toyland, eventually wining an Emmy for his work on Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color. Drawn by STAN JOLLEY (1926-2012), originally worked as a Disney art director and production designer before launching a successful career independent of Disney. He was nominated for an Academy Award for his work on Witness. Sketch approved by Producer P. Harrell and Director Nichols. Number of prints wanted: 6.
