Composite wood has been dyed and cut to make each sheet clean in appearance and consistent. Natural defects or markings are removed from the wood and the grain is straighter than natural veneer. How to finish: most any conventional finishing products can be used with veneer that is applied correctly. Disclaimer: Sometimes veneers have minor splits or tears in them.
