Additionally, this service only provides the American version of the WAIS-IV; examinees from other locations will have their results be potentially invalid. Due to the online nature of this service, certain subtests will not be administered. These include Block Design, Symbol Search, and Coding. Block Design, a Perceptual Reasoning subtest, will be substituted with Figure Weights as per the manual, and the Processing Speed Index will be omitted. Processing speed is correlated to a lower degree with general intelligence and typically used for clinical purposes; the accuracy and validity of the results will therefore be preserved.
