Description: This listing is for a vintage 1940s WW2 British military WT 8 Amp No 2 MK III straight Morse/telegraph key. Multiple versions of the straight 8 amp key were manufactured in six countries beginning in the 1920s. This model has a bakelite key lever, mushroom knob, and base. It is labeled CEL on both the key lever and the bottom of the base. The mark Z.A. 16929 also appears on the underside. It's dimensions are approximately 4.75 x 1.5 x 2.0 inches and it weighs 4.6 ounces. This item is likely desireable to both collectors of Militaria and modern HAM radio enthusiasts. It is untested. As I am not an expert in the area of telegaph keys or Morse Code instruments, I cannot attest to the completeness or working condition of this item. Please refer to the gallery pictures as they are included as part of the item description.
