We have 10” wide and 4.5” deep Cambridge Fox scene punch bowl with 7 cups. The Christmas set has a gathering of fox hunters both on the front and back of the of the bowl. The color of this set is an off white and comes with a red rim at the top of both the bowl and cups. There is a fracture crack in the bowl but it does hold water without seepage. The bowl and cups do show crazing due to time, use and age. See pictures for detail. The invention of the Tom and Jerry cocktail is credited to a British journalist Pierce Egan in the 1820’s. Mr. Egan wrote a book, and followed with a play, called Life in London, where the main characters were Tom and Jerry. The cocktail was introduced to promote the play and book.
