Description: Up for sale is this beautiful and extremely rare Antique Effanbee Lovums Mary Ann Composition Talking Doll with sleep eyes. It does appear that there is a speaker or some device sewn into the doll (see pictures of the back of the doll). I have been informed that this is the crier. However, I am not exactly sure how it works. It is obvious that I am not an expert on dolls. And I am sure my customers will fill me in on the details; which I do appreciate. I do know, however, that these types of dolls are extremely rare. These particular composition dolls were made between 1928 to 1937. This doll measures 21" in height. It is in very good condition.
