Description: Very cute and stylish vintage accordion purse from the early 1970s, made in Italy for Peck & Peck. It has 3 inside sections, with a flat zip pocket and a second flat unzipped pocket. It will expand to about 4 or 5 inches. The purse is 7 inches wide and 6 inches tall, and the handle is an additional 3.5 inches higher. It weighs 12.5 ounces. We have seen this purse elsewhere described as made of leather, and it does look like leather, but it does not smell like leather. The inside pockets seem to be made of a different material which could possibly be leather, but it is hard to tell. So we will proceed with the conviction that it is made of some naugahyde-type of vinyl. In the "Condition Description" section above, we described the purse as having a kind of thrift-store-old-vinyl smell. As mentioned, it is not an unclean or unpleasant smell, and the purse is otherwise very clean. The purse in the photos is the actual item for sale from this listing.
