HERE WE HAVE: A vintage lap desk that closes up to be a briefcase style box! Marked as being a "Signmaster" by National Display Specialties and made in Canada! Marked with patent number 330092 and patent date 1927.From what I could find online this originally held stencils and paints so that merchants could make signs on the go. We only have the box here. I included a photo of a small info snippet that I found online referencing the setup, it's only for reference and not included with the box! CONDITION: Being sold as we found it! Has color loss, discoloration/staining, scuffs and scratches scattered throughout. Two larger puncture "wounds" to the wood, inside and outside, doesn't seem to affect usability though! One of the exterior feet has a break to the wood. Please see photos! MEASUREMENTS: When closed up, it measures approximately 23 3/4" long, 5 1/2" wide, and 16 1/2" tall excluding the handle.
