Description: Nantucket Mermaid On Shell Statue Figurine 9" Tabletop Home Decor Vtg Nantucket Mermaid sitting on sea shell Garden Statue figure. Solar panel in rear with Light up globe. For PARTS or REPAIR! Unfortunately the globe no longer lights up. It used to run off standard AA batterys. I took a few photos of the battery compartment and underneath the battery compartment. Not much going on under there. Looks like two wires run out of the solar panel and two other wires run to the inside to the globe. Would need to be fixed.. maybe you could attach a led light strip inside? Maybe old Christmas lights? Not working currently though.Being sold as is. Really neat though and I havent been able to find another like it. Stands 9 inches tall, 9 inches wide and 8.5 inches long. I believe its Made of a hard plastic so bot prone to shattering.
