Description: The item is sold as is, as found, and as you see it. The sale is for a vtg. Artesa large pottery vase, handpainted in Ecuador. It has a small top collared rim that goes into a large bulbous form. An incised like design with horizontal wavy lines separating the colors or maybe the dark blue at top. A median colored blue in the middle. A brief sky blue bottom and a turquoise like blue in a fine spotted design. The horizontal wavy lines have a black writing crayon like effect as they are not solid like lines. No chips/cracks. A few craze lines on underside and magic marker of LT maybe. Dirty in crevice areas. The colors can have a translucent effect. It has sea life graphics of a star fish, seashell and seahorse. White top rim and inside and underside. Dirty inside, looks like it should clean. Sticky residue in the darker blue glaze near seahorse. The glaze may have a few glaze flaws in places like in the white near the opening. Nice modern, comtemporary piece. Will have glaze and color flaws along with pinholes with spots, dots, lumps and bumps. see all pics for they are part of description. May have other issues not mentioned but mentioned most significant. Measures 8" X 8" X 3 1/8" opening.
