Description: Stunning vintage pillow-top wooden jewelry box with a working music box. The top of the box has an intricate wood-patterned optical illusion. The piece is in excellent pre-owned condition with only very minor signs of wear/use. When the key is inserted into the music box, it protrudes, so the box does not sit properly. I am not sure if that was by design. However, you can wind it up, take out the key, and it will play. There is also an insert piece that slides over the inside of the box to cover the music box components and another secret storage area. The artisan's initials are in the corner on the bottom.
