VTG CORELLE 4~7 1/4” CEREAL SOUP BOWLS POSS. ‘SPRING’, ‘FAENZA’, ‘TULIP BOUQUET’

Description: These are 4 7 1/4" diameter Soup and Cereal Bowls by Corelle of Corning Glass. The challenge with Corelle bowls is that the individual pattern can be quite different than the bowls which many times are simply white or beige with stripes on or near the rims ~ not always, but often enough that one bowl can complement a number of patterns. These bowls are pure white with a green band on the rims. The green band measures 2 mm in width. It is directly on the rim. Of course, there are many shades of green ~ I suspect this bowl can be used with the following patterns ~ 'Spring', 'Faenza', 'Tulip Bouquet', 'Emma Jane', 'Sweet Celeste' ~ and possibly others. I cannot give you the year of manufacture as I do not know the exact pattern.Corelle is made by Corning Glass, of Corning , NY, and is chip & break resistant, can go in the microwave, but not in the oven, broiler, or on the stove top. Many put it in the dishwasher. These bowls hold 18 oz., are 7 1/4" in diameter, and stand 1 11/16" in height.
