Description: For sale is a Vintage Brass Relief Wall Hanging Plaque of Two Herons along the edge of a shore. The rectangular plaque measured approximately 20" in height by 10 3/4" wide. It has what appears to be mounted to a compressed wood backer board that contains a hook for hanging. The art work appears to be in good, almost very good condition for it's age, but has two noticeable flaws. The first is an indentation right behind the eye of the larger heron perching on the branch. This was first noticed by the seller when examining the photographs, and not while handling the piece. It could likely be repaired by removing the backer board and pushing it out if so desired, or left as is. The second flaw is an area of oxidized metal, located about 2" above the back of the perched heron, just to the left of a cattail head. A nice accent piece for that lake cabin or lake home. Nicely sized classical naturalist themed plaque with a pleasant aged brass patina. Please use the photographs to assess the condition of the Brass Wall Relief of Two Herons by the Shore.
