Description: VTG 50's Pin Up Beaded Dress Rockabilly 32/25/34" Wiggle Tassel 1lb Stunning Rockabilly vintage dress Black beads on dress, some are in a pattern, and there are a few, drop/hanging larger beads ~ see pics. Dress weighs a little over 1 lb! Quality fabric & beading. Dress is lined Zips in back with hook & eye at top Back metal zipper ~ zipper does work, maybe a little stiff due to age Ok, so the NOT so great parts on the dress It looks like the dress was hemmed at one point, so the bottom will need to be re-hemmed. There is also a line across the bottom when the hem had been folded . also a couple little marks ( see last collage pics). She was a short gal, lol While most of the beading is in good condition, there are a couple spots there are a couple missing beads. ~ there are 3 small holes where it looks like there were the "tassel" beads, ( so 2 sections of 2, with only one bead still hanging) ~ see last collage pics~ Dress sold as is. The front edge of the bust~ the lining looks to need a little steam/pressing, as it tended to pop up while was taking pictures. No inside tags~ brand or size/fabric. Estate find, from their grandmothers collection between the 50's to 60's please use measurements given for best fit. Fabric is not stretchy, so measurements are the max it can go. So say you are right at 32" bust, it most likely will not fit, as there is no give to the fabric for movement Item might need a pressing. Sold as is, as pictured, with flaws that have been noted . Approx. measurements 32" bust ( right under arms, then x's 2) 25" waist 34" hips about 37" long~ from shoulder to bottom of dress ( remember, dress will need a new hem, so it will eventually end up being a little shorter Item will be shipped in a tightly wrapped protected envelope to save on shipping. As with true vintage items, some wear, maybe fraying on inside seams, and dusty smell are all typical on these older items. I do mention any major flaws, but as with any item over 60 years old, you can not expect it to be perfect. When trying on, please be carful, it is old. While the zipper works fine, a zipper broken because dress is too small is not a flaw, and if dress is broken, I can not take it back. Measuring I measure items while laying flat, or length of dress, hung from hanger.Please compare the measurement of the item I posted against your best fitting similar item of clothing to insure proper fit. Bust/Chest~ All the around the bust/chest area right under the arm seams, so side to side X's 2. Shoulder~ across seam to seam. Waist~ All the way around waist. Hips~ about 7" to 9" below waist. Sleeves~ from the top at seam to cuff.
