Unlike the other blades of this series this Bowie does not have a serialized number indicating that it was likely a blade made in case one of the others was defective or this was created solely as an employee/executive gift at Schrade. It is inscribed "R.O." where you would otherwise see the edition number. There is no way to know for certain if this was the former or the latter or a combination of both scenarios. 1991 Schrade USA WWII Pearl Harbor Fixed Blade Knife, striking 24K Gold Etched Deeply Blued Blade, Sambar Stag Handle, Brass Guard and Pommel, Skeleton Key and Display Case, Very Rare and Absolutely Beautiful Knife in Excellent Condition!
