Description: We offer for your consideration this mid 1970 Timex automatic wristwatch. This wrist watch is a classic timex, I believe it wa called the "Marlin" although we have been advised that it is a “Viscount” The works are automatic, no nonsense. I am unaware of the jewel count, if there are any. The only complication is the Date window. The case is is a clean straight forward design. The case is approximately 35 mm in diameter, and approximately 12 mm front to back.The dial is a two tone champagne in color with a kind of abstract woven pattern. The numerals are arabic, painted in black with a somewhat italic style to them. The hands are black, sword style.The crystal does have some scratches, but nothing to distracting or obscuring. The band is an old school Speidel Twist O Flex There is a small red dot at the 8 o'clock hour ? this may have been significant to the previous owner.It could be easily removed if it is found to be distracting. This wrist watch definitely lives up the the Timex Slogan "It Takes a Lick'n, But Keeps On Tick'n" If you are a collector of vintage 70s something wrist watches, this ol Timex will be a great addition to your collection.
