Description: This is a die-cut brochure with information about the Golden Gloves boxing tournament. Inside, it is marked: "FORT WORTH REGIONAL TOURNAMENT - January 15, 16, 18, 22, 23...TEXAS STATE TOURNAMENT - February 18, 19, 20, 23." It also lists ticket prices, depending on the seating location. The brochure lists the charities that benefit from the tournament, and details who is eligible to compete, as well as the benefits of amateur boxing for boys. This is NOT an actual program with names of participants. Inside the back page, it pictures some of the prominent area men who endorsed the Golden Gloves tournament. The brochure does not have a date, but I Googled some of these individuals, and when they held the titles listed, and it seems this was made between 1959 and 1962. The booklet measures 8 & 1/2 inches long, by 3 & 3/4 inches wide. If you include the front & back covers, it has 8 pages. The condition is EXCELLENT, with only minor wear.
