Description: Going to Grandma's for Thanksgiving! Up for your viewing pleasure comes this immaculate 1955 Vogue Molded Lash Walker Ginny doll. Ginny is in near mint condition with blue sleep eyes that need minor occasional help to close or open, intact, black molded eyelashes and dark brown eyebrows. Ginny retains her original light blonde wig styled in a curly flip with thick, double bangs. Her original wig is soft, clean and mostly in the original set with a few fly-away hairs. She has a sweet expression, evenly blushed cheeks with no scuffs and a rosebud red mouth. Ginny's walking mechanism works correctly to smoothly turn her head side to side as you walk her legs. She has all her fingers, no split seams, no cracks or odors, and her arms hold all poses, and she can stand on her own. She is correctly marked on her back "Ginny, Vogue Dolls Inc." and a long patent number. This indicates that she was made in 1955, the first year Vogue added molded black eyelashes to their Ginny dolls. Ginny comes to you wearing a near-mint condition, 1955-56 navy blue polished cotton dress and navy blue felt coat. The Medford Mass. Vogue tagged dress is accented at the waist with the original cluster of flowers sewn into the waist and closes in back with the attached red velvet ribbon tie. She wears her original matching navy blue panties, pristine white socks and red Mary Jane shoes with working knob closures. Also included is vintage 1950's navy blue felt coat with wide organdy collar and red snap closure. The coat is not tagged. I have added a new red satin bow to her glorious hair. She is ready to visit Grandma for Thanksgiving.
