It is one of several hand-painted Italian decks that the Visconti family commissioned in the 15th Century. This Visconti deck is also unusual because it has male and female Knights and Pages in the court cards. 67 cards remain in existence. Another oddity of the deck is the inclusion of Faith, Hope and Charity. In traditional Tarot Deck we usually find Justice, Temperance and Fortitude. These cards were originally guilded in gold and silver, the artwork is amazing! Tarot lovers will LOVE these prints.
