The blade has been cleaned, polished, and dressed in a set of hand-crafted buffalo horn scales with a wedge made from fossilized natural material. The blade does contain some pitting, but this doesn't compromise the edge or its ability to shave. The edge was finished on a 12k Naniwa Superstone and stropped.
