The stitch design template set is complete. The vinyl storage pockets are in good condition without signs of damage. The box is intact and shows age and wear. The test stitch sample made using THIS Y. S. Star Zigzag Attachment is included. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Let's Play!Archive photos are used to illustrate and demonstrate this type of vintage zigzag attachment on my Singer Featherweight 221.~~~Unlike other automatic zigzag attachments with multiple stitch pattern cams, this compact decorative stitching machine is the perfect size for taking to classes or sewing retreats.It all fits neatly into its 4 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 2" original box You will have a combination of utility stitch templates such as a simple zigzag stitch (2 widths)... A blind hem stitch template. And a lovely selection of embroidery-like stitch patterns to chose from. The well made "floating foot" allows the seamster to sew over uneven surfaces such as seams. And has a 3 mm (1/8th") channel beneath the foot to hold narrow trims such as ribbon, baby rick rack or soutache braid in place as it is top stitched. As you can see, this amazing little vintage Y. S. Star Automatic ZigZag Attachment delivers a lot of creative sewing potential to your sewing project. Each template has two pattern cams to chose from with the exception of "E" which is the blind stitch only. Slip the pattern template of your choice into the slot at the back of the zigzag attachment. Change the templates easily while the attachment is on your sewing machine. Simply chose a template and insert it into the slot at the back of the attachment. You will feel a click as it is secured. This little nub (second photo down) on the underside secures the template inside the attachment. To remove the template, gently lift it up and pull. This allows the nub to hop over the catch releasing the template from the attachment. The attachment does not have the ability to vary the stitch width. The stitch length is determined by the stitch length regulator on your sewing machine. A lovely condensed pattern is created by shortening the stitch length. A more open pattern is obtained with a longer stitch length. Like my comments? They are included.
