Description: Vintage Yalalag Dangle Cross Pendant Necklace CEL 925 Sterling Silver Preowned, very good condition, minor imperfections from use/age The Yalalag cross design originated in the town of San Juan Yalalag in the mountains east of Oaxaca. This unique design originated in the sixteenth century in Salamanca, Spain & was brought to Mexico by the friars during the colonial period. The pendant hangs 3.75" long from the bail to the bottom dangling crosses. The largest cross is 1"x1", the 3 smaller dangle crosses are 5/8" x 7/8".
