Description: vintage California Fruit Exchange wooden fruit crate with the Mendo Mount Mountain Bartlett Pears label on one end and marked 'California Fruit Exchange' on the other end. Box measures approximately 19 1/2 inches long by 12 inches wide and 9 inches tall. Sides are sturdy and thicker than some fruit crates and cartons. There is some overall light wear, a crack near one corner and a missing piece on one of the side slats (see photos). Bottom slat has a sliver missing and looks like a crack but is not separated from the box. Label has some wear, mainly around the edges and a small piece missing below 'Mount', though colors are crisp and bright. There is also some wear along the top of the crate on the label end.
