Description: This is a vintage Peg Solitaire game; approx. 35 years old. It is a cut tree trunk; you can see the growth rings on both top and bottom. The pegs are metal and look like smooth bolts. The wood base measures approx. 7” x.5” and .75” thick. Each peg measures approx. 1.25”. This is a complete set of 32 pegs. The point of the game is to jump pegs, removing the jumped peg from the board. The skill level increases as fewer and fewer pegs remain when there are no more jumps. My husband loved this and was able to play until only a single peg remained – master class, for sure. He had the thing mastered when he figured out where to leave the starting empty hole.
