Description: VINTAGE WOOD SPICE BOX/JAR This very small wood kitchen spice box/jar with a lift lid measures 1-1/8" tall with a diameter of 1-5/8". It has a variable color worn green and blue paint which was a later addition. This is one of the smallest spice jars that was part of a large collection of kitchen primitives and appears to have been used to store oregano. Some contents remain in the jar. Because of its size, these jars were sometimes called pinch boxes (a pinch of this a pinch of that). It is in good condition with surface wear to the paint.A uniquely small wood kitchen spice box/jar! THANKS FOR VISITING LANE'S COUNTRY LARK!
