Due to its excellent function and design, it received the most support from aviators among the flight suits that had been provided so far. The A-2 jacket is made of dark brown leather, with a continuous back and sleeves. The cuffs and waistband are unidirectional ridged knits of brown wool.Government-supplied brass button-down collar snaps that prevent the wind from fluttering the collar convey the atmosphere of the time."
