Description: Hello. Here is a very decent looking Whites mineral and metal detector. It will ship to you with its beat frequency 11" coil and wire /plug but no original telescopic pole. I opened it up and the 2 6pak battery boxes were heavily corroded. I removed the batterys and cleaned up the terminals. I did install 12 batterys (used but probably good) and the unit did not respond. I later checked the voltages on the paks...one was zero the other was 7 volts. So I think one pak is bad somehow and the other may be weak batterys as I dont have new ones. Everything else looks good to go on this older unit but I cannot guaranty anything else. So basically I am selling it for parts or in as is condition. I did find another battery pack that is new looking and you will receive it PLUS another pole with attached smaller coil that will work with a little modification to the coil end attachment.
