It is marked US on the front flap and the back is marked Boyt 44 which should date this to 1944. The holster shows some minor wear with some scratches and a few small scuffs here and there. There is some greenish oxidation on some of the metal pieces. After the holster sits for a few days it will get a whitish film on the leather. It can easily be wiped off but I have no idea what causes it to happen. Overall the holster looks to be in good shape. Please take a look at all of the pictures for condition.
