Description: DETAILS: Lot of seven TruVue cards from the 1950's ,New old stock. In New condition, the slides are slight faded as all Tru Vue cards today (Please read the description under). I sell them 'as is' 'Tru-Vue company was acquired by Sawyers View-Master in 1952, who wanted the rights to Disney licenses held by the company. This was manufactured in Beaverton, Oregon after Sawyers took the Tru-Vue company over in 1952. Rather than using filmstrips as before, it used cards consisting of 7 stereo pairs. Sawyers chose not to use Kodachrome film and so the pictures have faded to a monochrome magenta finish these days, having lost most of their yellow and blue colouration. Production of the Tru-Vue cards continued until the mid 1960's' PAYMENT: When an item is sold I send an invoice to the high bidder/buyer within two days. Payments must be received within three days after my invoice is sent. SHIPPING: I send the parcels within three business days after your payment is done. It usually takes about 18 days to reach the countries outside Europe. (USA, Japan, Canada, Australia etc.) Inside Europe it takes about 10 days. Of course there are sometimes exceptions where it can take a longer time, this depends not on me, but on the post offices. The post offices in Greece are closed on Saturday and Sunday!
