Description: Vintage Tortolani Sterling Silver Donkey Mule 1964 Desert Southwest Grand Canyon. Such a fun kitschy piece!! This was purchased at the Grand Canyon’s El Tovar Hotel, which was first opened in 1905 in Northern Arizona. This adorable donkey / mule was a souvenir purchased by my grandmother after descending the canyon on the famous Mule Rides. In was purchased new in 1964. It is one of many items from her fabulous estate- as it was so overwhelming, we could only keep so much, and are parting with some of her items.
