Description: This is a lovely vintage tin litho friction toy depicting San Francisco Cable Car #514 servicing Powell & Mason streets. Almost certainly made in Japan, but no maker's info appears on the item. Identical cable car toys have been listed elsewhere that have the marks "Verona" and "Made in Japan" in the panel on the side that says "San Francisco". Not sure why this one doesn't. Approx. 6" long x 3.25" tall. The litho on this toy is in very good shape. The left side of the front panel has a dent, as does the roof, but the piece presents very nicely overall.
