Description: Vintage Sword Rapier Cigarette Cigar Ash Tray w/ Stand - Brass Made In Italy This beautiful sword ashtray was in my Father In-Laws collection. It seems to be made of brass and a cast metal that has been bronzed. The sword portion is removable from the stand. It is not a real sword, there is no edge on the blade. There is some engraving on the blade, that gives it a detailed look. It looks as though it was never used, because of no presence of scorch marks or burns from cigarettes. It does have some patina and age tarnishing, and some moisture staining. I can find no markings on it, but other similar items on line say it is Italian made. So that's just a guess. Very iconic and with an amazing vintage look. Thanks for looking!
