Description: Vintage Square Gruen 10K Gold Filled Veri-Thin Watch, Cal 435, 17 jewels. It has a new old stock Elgin brown lizard band with a 1/20 10K Gold Filled buckle. I believe the watch dates to the early 1940s. The case is about 26 mm x 26 mm not including lugs or crown. It’s been running well and seems to be keeping good time although not checked for accuracy. The second hand seems short to me. I don’t know if it’s made that way or if the tip is broken off.
