VINTAGE SCRAPBOOK from the LATE 1940s USED BROWN COVER

Description: VINTAGE USED SCRAPBOOK from the LATE 1940's Admittedly This SCRAPBOOK from the Late 1940's is in Very Rough condition.ALL of the Used Pages are Loose. Only the First Third of the pages have anything glued to them. The other 2/3 of the pages have Never Been Used. ALL the pages are brittle and flakey. They definitely show their 75 years of Age. Use care in opening the book because of the flakiness of the pages. The Embossed Covers (both front & back) are in fairly good condition. ALL the contents are photos that were clipped from old magazines. The 1st page is a photo of LEO DUROCHER when he was with the Brooklyn Dodgers.The next few pages feature other Baseball players from that time.The next pages after that are pictures of popular dogs and included is a great 3 page Fold Out Chart called " The Family of 114 Different Breeds of Dogs".The next pages are filled with pictures of many different Birds.Lastly are pages of miscellaneous photos of scenery , antique cars and a military aircraft. The Scrapbook measures 14" X 12" SEE PHOTOS This Scrapbook belonged to a family that lived in my Dad's Hometown, the Hamlet of Bellvale, NY.It has been in my hands for at least 60 years but I don't know how I acquired it.The contents might not be of much interest to you but the cover, being in good condition, might be of use to start a "Vintage" Scrapbook of your own with your own vintage photos.
