Description: Highly sought after Pre-1968 Vintage Revere Ware 1801 Copper Bottom 7" Stainless Steel Skillet/Saute Pan Frying Pan with Double ring 1801, Revere Ware logo & Patent #2272609,Made in Riverside, CA, USA In good vintage condition. Measurements 1 7/8" high, 7" width, 12 1/2" to end of handle. No lid. Revere Ware history: in 1968 Revere Ware decided to cut costs. Therefore, the thickness of the copper cladding was reduced by 50% (which unfortunately caused the cladding to lose much of its ability to dissipate heat) and also the thickness of the walls was reduced. The handles were also changed from two pieces to one.
