Description: Offering a Vintage Polynesian Tapa Cloth. The old tribal cloth is made from bark of a mulberry or fig tree that has been softened through a process of soaking and beating. This is a work of art; painted with geometric and stylized floral designs made from vegetable dyes in shades of light brown, dark red and black.The beautiful tribal cloth is large, measures approximately 40" X 48". It is in very good condition for its age; with some tears and crease marks from being folded. Please see photos for details.
