Description: A group of 80+ pieces of sheet music. Many have a name or names written on them, many also have markings on the inside when they were apparently used for teaching, some of the front covers have even been colored or embellished. Several have come apart, others came apart and were taped back together with the old-fashioned Scotch tape which has yellowed with age. At least one piece was cut down for some reason, but the music itself is still there. All in all, an interesting collection. Some particular genres are represented, several WW II and patriotic pieces. Many were made popular by Bing Crosby, Gene Autry, and The Andrews Sisters. Other well-known artists are represented as well--Perry Como, Patti Page and others. "Alabama Rose" (from 1924) was published as an advertising piece for various businesses in Whittier, California, and has a picture of Sophie Tucker on the cover. It is in fairly poor condition, probably printed on inexpensive paper that hasn't withstood the test of time very well. Combined shipping on multiple wins. Thanks for looking.
