While he’s still best known for winning three world championships and 30 races aboard the Vance & Hines Eagle One Suzuki, Matt Hines has blossomed into one of NHRA’s most successful crew chiefs. Much like his mentor and team co-owner Terry Vance, Hines stepped off the bike in the prime of his career. Like Vance, he also went out on a winning note, beating Geno Scali in the final round of the 2002 Auto Club NHRA Finals on his last competitive Pro Stock Motorcycle pass. As a rider, Hines set a couple of marks that might never be duplicated, most notably winning 20 of the first 40 races he attended. We purchased these items we have listed on eBay years ago when they were first made available to retailers and sold them in our diecast store. We closed our store over 20 years ago and stored all of our inventory in a warehouse. Please understand, this item has been stored in several different warehouses over the last 20+ years. Consequently, the sleeve, the box, and the item itself may have storage and age-related issues, including, but not limited to broken seals, old price stickers, warping, dust, shelf wear, water staining from heat and humidity, discoloring from sun exposure, issues with paint finishes, issues with moving parts, and other age related issues. AS YOU CAN SEE, THE ITEM STILL DISPLAYS NICELY. We try to take good pictures to show the condition of the box and the item, however, some issues just do not show up in photos.
