Description: Up for grabs is a lovely vintage Movado tank in 'jumbo' sizing. The watch measures 35mm length (40mm if you include the wire lugs), making it a generous size for a piece from the deco era. The condition is outstanding for its age, with factory finishing still present on the solid 9K gold case. The ORIGINAL dial, while displaying some patina, also looks lovely. You'd be hard pressed to find a cleaner example of an original 'exploding numbers' dial. -- Frank Müller, eat your heart out! The blued steel hands are also intact and look awesome under different lighting conditions. This would have been a high end watch back in its day, as evidenced by its chronometer status. Although the service history is unknown, the 15 jewel manual wind caliber is in gorgeous condition and appears to be running well; I have had no issues with timekeeping whatsoever. I've put this on a custom ostrich leather strap with a generic plated buckle. This is brand new and needs a bit of wear to break it in, as you can see from the wrist shots.
