Vintage Mid Century 1964 B. Wilbur Western Mountain Peak Lake Landscape Painting

Description: This listing is for the old original oil painting of a mountain that you see in the photos. I purchased it at an estate sale in Oregon where I was not told it's history. The signature indicates that it was painted in 1964 by B. Ward. I am guessing that the scene is of somewhere in the Western part of the United States. The only somewhat similar painting of a mountain peak that I could find on the internet was painted by a different painter who lived in Nevada and California. I leave it to the buyer to decide where the scene is. The frame measures close to 33 1/4 by 23 3/8 inches. The area of the painting exposed by the frame measures close to 29 1/4 by 19 1/4 inches. The framed painting weighs close to 4 pounds 4 ounces.The condition is much like you see it in the photos. Painting and frame might benefit from a light cleaning. Otherwise, the painting is fine without damage. The frame shows some signs of use in the form of scratches and one shallow gouge on the back and narrow sides of the frame. The top of the frame that is normally viewed looks very good with only a couple of very minor blemishes. The paper backing on the frame is damaged.I guarantee this painting to be as described and represented by the photos. The photos are part of the description. Please look at all of them.
