Description: An awesome and unusual artwork by an artist very much full of adoration. Bright and imaginative Vintage Painting of Mother Mary / Madonna with Baby Jesus as two (young) Angels, with their Lambs close by, approach with flowers in hand. This is a nice sized Larger piece measuring 43.5" L x 26.5" H and painted on canvas. Appears the paint is oil (possibly acrylic) and is painted with some texturing. No missing or damaged paint found, bright bold positive coloration throughout. Highly attractive and very intriguing. Has a superb Folk Art / Naive presence in its design and I believe it may have been done by a younger girl / woman. Just has that innocence and spiritual aliveness to it...painted with Love...simple, pure. The intensity of the eyes are amazing and really pull you into this creation. Mary, Jesus, the Angels are wonderful in their eye expressions. Very different from other pieces...and the Lambs are just too perfect to complete the scene. Gorgeous flowering as well. I am guessing that this Painting is Spanish in origin from the beautiful and powerful detailed eye stylizing, however, could be French, Italian...hard to say...the signature appears to be "Fifi 65" (if I am reading the name correctly) "Fifi' has a name meaning of Jehovah increases / God gives ( as in a family). The artist's soul is in this work which is invaluable...an estate find, I feel the artist may have been a friend of the elderly woman who originally owned this one of a kind work. The frame is wood, Mid Century period and painted a muted gold tone and sturdy...ready to hang. Has normal older handling wear as expected. Due to it measurements, appears made for this painting. The backing has old masking tape as shown, leaving as is so you receive this in original condition, however, you can easily remove the old masking tape to apply new...to better secure the back. The artist used what she had for backing, which is an old peg board material with pegboard drilled holes. If you hold this painting up with a window to the back, an amazing effect comes in with the peg holes letting light through...like stars! Of course, on the wall, this effect is totally mute. The frame come out from the wall 1" and has a 1.5" boarder around the actual painting, so the image showing is 40.5" L x 23.5" H.
