Description: Calco (California Clay Products), South Gate, CA 1923-1932 Mayan-themed vintage tile was originally made as part of a fireplace surround. Has decorated surface, matte tan glazing with touches of green and rounded edges. Tile measures 5 1/2" on each straight side x 1/2" thick. Great condition, never set. Comes from the vast tile collection owned by Norman Karlson, author of books on American tile.
