Vintage Marshall 1x12 Combo Model 2150 Powercell Celestion

Description: Vintage 1978 Marshall 1x12 Combo Model 2150 with original Powercell Celestion Speaker Recent professional restoration to the Cabinet, Tolex, Knobs, Corners, Handle, Vent, Checkerboard Grill Cloth, Casters and Plexi Faceplate all replaced. Why all the work you might ask? The original aluminum faceplate had no Lettering/Numbering left on it, the grill cloth had holes in it, Tolex was torn and shoddy, corners were cracked and missing, handle was broken, vent was cracked, knobs were broken or missing and the casters were missing, I contemplated just replacing the faceplate but I could only source a Plexi Faceplate, once I did that it just didn’t look right with a bright and Shiny new Faceplate with all the rest broken missing and tattered. I had seen a story on a worn out wrecked Ferrari that sold for $2.3 million. Once restored and brought back to all its glory the guy got $12 million for it. I’m way more into this than I’ll ever get out of it, but it definitely looks better than what it did. I didn’t do anything to the amplifier itself. It all looks original but I’m no amp tech, It sounds great, it has the original filter caps and a complete set of Mesa Engineering tubes. maybe a visit to your local tech to have it gone through but to me it sounds great.!!!!
